What’s one approach you’ve found effective for raising mental health awareness in your community or workplace? Mental Health Awareness Starts with Honest Conversation One of the most effective ways I’ve found to raise mental health awareness is through genuine, everyday conversation. When people feel safe to talk about stress, burnout, or personal struggles, it opens the door to understanding and empathy. I’ve seen simple check-ins, peer discussions, and open dialogue do far more to reduce stigma than any formal campaign. Real change happens when we normalize the conversation and remind each other that mental health is a shared human experience. #MentalHealthAwareness #WorkplaceWellness #CommunitySupport #ReducingStigma #EmotionalHealth #HumanConnection #Wellbeing #Leadership

Your team's well-being matters more than ever. Here's how to make mental health check-ins actually work: 1. Schedule them consistently Weekly or bi-weekly, same time 2. Create psychological safety "No wrong answers" mindset 3. Ask open-ended questions "How are you really doing?" 4. Listen without interrupting Let them fill the silence 5. Follow up on action items Show you mean it These 15-minute conversations build trust and prevent burnout before it starts. What's one question you'll ask in your next check-in? #MentalHealthAtWork #LeadershipSkills #TeamManagement #WorkplaceWellness #BurnoutPrevention

Thinking aloud: Movember - Mens Health - Stress Risk Assessment Mental Health First Aider Courses certainly have their place However, Mental Health First Aid Courses can be a company's show of: 👉 "I've done something" 👉 "That will help with the tender" 👉 "That will help with the ISO or SSiP" All roads go back to the risk assessment ... and workplace stress is no different Thanks for watching and thinking if your organisations approach to Workplace Stress is more 'illusion' than 'meaningful' Andy & Llewellyn 🐕 #firstaid #stress #riskassessment

Do you feel stressed, worried or anxious at work? Anxiety is the number one mental health issue among American workers, according to an American Psychological Association study. This month I've done multiple presentations on "Managing Worry and Anxiety" to corporations, and the response has been eye opening. Virtually every person on each session is dealing with stress, worry and anxiety at work, and it's not easy to manage. If you have an EAP option at your work, don't be afraid to use it. Have a conversation with someone who can talk you through it. And as always, I believe in you. #ibelieveinyou #careercoach #corporateculture
