I'm self employed and often stressed. Do i need to apply those stratergy to myself? It's very difficult to asses ones own mental health.

Really important point, Andrew. Staff wellbeing and mental health need to be far more than a tick-box exercise or a line in a strategy document. While mental health training can be a useful part of the picture, genuine impact comes from leaders and organisations that actively listen, understand the pressures their people face, and take meaningful action to reduce them. A strong wellbeing culture isn’t built through compliance, it’s built through care, consistency, and trust. When staff see that their mental health is truly valued, not just measured, it transforms morale, engagement, and performance across the board.
