It’s #FeelGoodFriday, and today we’re celebrating the incredible career of Special Constable Graeme Gleeson - a PolAir legend whose 36 years of service and 7,000+ flight hours have helped keep NSW safe 🙌🚁✈️ Graeme has flown more than a million kilometres across the state for the NSW Police Force, seeing the best and worst from the air. Capable of flying both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft (a rare breed), he’s led and inspired generations of pilots, crew and engineers along the way. Thank you, Graeme, for a career that’s lifted us all. Wishing you blue skies and smooth landings in retirement 💙

The launch event was hosted at Qtopia Sydney, bringing together key community members to celebrate this milestone and reaffirm our shared commitment to inclusion. New name. It’s #FeelGoodFriday, and this one’s a heart-melter 🐾❤️ A kind stranger arrived at Redfern Police Station with a lost dog, hoping he could be reunited with his owner. Unfortunately, Jackson the doggo had no ID, so there was no way to confirm who he belonged to, and he had to be sent to the pound. The next day, Brett arrived at the station, desperate to find his lost dog. Sergeant Jacqueline from South Sydney PAC quickly connected the dots and went above and beyond, helping reunite Brett with Jacko and even covering the costs of Jackson’s vet appointments herself. Now Jacko is on the mend, and Brett has his best mate back 🐶 Proof that a little kindness (and a lot of heart) can make all the difference 💙

Yesterday (Thursday 20 November 2025), the Corporate Sponsor for Sexuality, Gender Diversity and Intersex, Assistant Commissioner Leanne McCusker APM, gathered with the NSW Police Force staff, community partners, including members of the LGBTQIA+ Consultative Committee, participants of the LGBTQIA+ Stakeholder forum, and community members to recognise Transgender Day of Remembrance.   Assistant Commissioner McCusker said, “It is a solemn day to honour the transgender and gender diverse peoples whose lives have been lost to acts of transphobia, discrimination, and violence."

A proud moment for Multicultural NSW! Last night our Language + App was awarded the Premier’s Award for Excellence in Service Delivery.    Co-designed with NSW Police and community, Language+ helps Police Officers communicate clearly with linguistically diverse communities.  With more than 283 languages spoken across NSW, frontline police can’t always have an interpreter on hand. Language+ provides Officers with: 🔹  200+ policing phrases, translated into 32 languages, recorded by accredited interpreters, supporting areas like Highway Patrol, Water Police, Domestic Violence and General Duties. 🔹 24/7 on-demand interpreter service through the app, giving NSW Police access to certified interpreters anytime, anywhere, in 100+ languages.   We’re incredibly proud of this partnership with NSW Police as well as the leadership of Breda Diamond, Catherine Davies and all of the interpreters and translators who brought Language + to life.
