  • 🧠 Exciting news in the world of higher education research! We’re proud to highlight the new Center for Brain Health at UT Health San Antonio, and we're honored to have supported the design of this groundbreaking project. This 5‑story, 100,000-square-foot facility is set to transform neuro‑research and patient care in San Antonio and beyond, featuring cutting-edge technology and spaces designed to help researchers reach further in this critical field of study. Congratulations to UT Health and the entire project team for bringing this vision to life—we can’t wait to see the discoveries and breakthroughs this facility will enable.

  • We’re thrilled to celebrate Juliet Bibla, a designer in our Education studio, on passing the Architect Registration Examination (ARE)! The desk decorations never disappoint, and our Denver team did a fantastic job. Congratulations, Juliet! 🎉 #LifeAtTreanor #AREPassed #ArchitectInTheMaking #RegisteredArchitect #AIA

I’m feeling incredibly grateful today. After years of dedication and hard work, I have officially passed all of my AREs. These examinations have taught me so much, but I would not be here without the support of my exceptional coworkers, both past and present. They guided me through countless questions, encouraged me throughout the process, and even took the time to decorate my desk in celebration of this milestone. For those who may not know, I’m the resident Photoshop enthusiast in our office—regularly creating fun edits for birthdays, work anniversaries, and major accomplishments. This time, my coworkers turned the tables and created a set of edits featuring me, which made the celebration even more meaningful. I’m excited for the next chapter of my career—and looking forward to finally taking a well-earned nap.

  • 👏 We're celebrating two major milestones in one week! From ribbon cutting to award ceremony, the Maricopa County Southeast Juvenile Courthouse is making waves. It was awarded the 2025 Interior Architecture Award by AIA Arizona. Congratulations to the entire team who made this project a reality!

Maricopa County's new SE Juvenile Courthouse celebrated both a ribbon cutting event and the AIA Arizona Gala this past week where it was awarded a 2025 Honor Award in the Interior Architecture category! It was a pleasure collaborating with Mark Ryan, FAIA, Renee Saavedra, AIA, and Jeff Lane, as well as celebrating Treanor's first Arizona Justice project. Thanks to the team at Okland Construction and Jason Roehner for such professional photography.

  • We’re honored to share that the Juanita J. Craft Civil Rights House and Museum has received a 2025 Preservation Texas Honor Award for Historic Rehabilitation. Led by our Historic Preservation studio, this project honors the life and legacy of Juanita Craft, whose South Dallas home became a cornerstone of the civil rights movement in Texas. From hosting NAACP meetings to mentoring young activists, her home was a place where change began and continues to this day. Through careful restoration and thoughtful reinterpretation, the project reactivates this historic space as a living, community-centered museum, keeping Ms. Craft’s story alive and accessible for generations to come. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this project possible, and to Preservation Texas for recognizing the enduring power of places that tell our shared history.

  • 🎃 We enjoyed some Halloween fun across the Treanor offices this week! From potlucks and Day of the Dead ofrendas to costume contests and creative team activities, our offices across the country got into the Halloween spirit—and the results did not disappoint. A special shoutout to the Denver team for debuting “T-Reanorsaurus HQ," a prehistoric project site designed specifically for our dino-sized occupants (complete with a Veloci-Raptor Break Room and Meteor Impact Buffer Area). We loved seeing everyone’s creativity and teamwork shine through. #HappyHalloween from all of us at Treanor! #TreanorDesign #LifeAtTreanor #HalloweenCostume #ArchitectLife #TreanorsaurusRex #ShrekCostume

  • A thousand stars for this milestone! 🌟 We’re proud to partner with Children's Hospital Colorado on their new, fully accessible inpatient playground —a space designed to support whole health and recovery through play, connection, and nature. Creating environments that promote healing and joy is at the heart of what we do, and we’re honored to have helped shape a place where every child can explore, laugh, and heal. #ReachFurther #SmarterArchitecture #HealingThroughDesign #ChildrensHealth #HealthcareDesign

We believe everyone deserves the chance to play. Check out the new accessible playground at our hospital at Anschutz Medical Campus. A huge thank-you to Denver Broncos Football Club Head Coach Sean Payton, his wife, Skylene, our Association of Volunteers and the community for giving hospitalized patients a place to be kids!

  • Steel is up and the interior is taking shape for the 52,000-square-foot James C. Morriss Building, Engineering, and Technology Building at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. Crews are currently installing overhead and in-wall mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and the exterior envelope will start soon! As we mark #HigherEducationMonth, Treanor is proud to help create spaces where learning and real-world readiness intersect—like the Financial Literacy Center, featuring Bloomberg stock tickers at the entrance and a flexible lecture space that welcomes both students and the community. Thank you to Clark Contractors, LLC and our consultant team for keeping momentum strong as we work toward a 2026 completion. #HigherEd #NationalHigherEducationMonth #HigherEdArchitecture #ConstructionUpdate #MEP #TexasAMUniversityTexarkana #ClarkContractors

  • Treanor has climbed four spots in Engineering News-Record’s Top 100 Green Design Firms, ranking #96 this year! This represents a meaningful shift in how we approach design. For us, sustainability is about more than performance metrics—it’s about balancing building performance, health outcomes, and community resilience to create buildings that perform efficiently, support well-being, and bring lasting value to the communities we serve. We’re proud of this recognition and even prouder of the work behind it. Onward and upward! 🌍 #Sustainability #GreenDesign #ENRTop100 #Architecture #TreanorDesign #SustainableDesign
