  • On point, Shalini Puchalapalli! India’s creator ecosystem isn’t just growing. It’s influencing real decisions. ✨ When discovery and trust come together, brands see measurable impact.

    We often talk about the 'scale' of India’s digital revolution, but numbers alone don't capture the full story. The real revolution is arguably in the depth of connection being built. India’s creator ecosystem is maturing at an incredible pace. As of December 2024, YouTube has over 15,000 channels with more than a million subscribers. That’s not just viewership; that is massive, sustained influence. What’s fascinating is how this influence is formed. It often starts with discovery. 80% of users say YouTube Shorts introduces them to creators they can't find elsewhere, but it quickly graduates to deep trust. For brands, this trust is the ultimate currency. A recent Kantar survey showed that 87% of viewers in India agree that YouTube has the most trusted creators for product recommendations, significantly outperforming the competitive average of 78% (which includes Facebook, Instagram and Moj MX Takatak).  We see this currency translate into real business impact. Wheel (Unilever) recently unlocked a bold new media model by identifying Hindi-belt creators who authentically advocated for the brand to build trust with their consumers. By leveraging Partnership Ads to scale these genuine connections, they drove a +3% lift in purchase intent.
